WHILE sympathising with the disappointment of your correspondent Brian Wardlow (Republicans will prevail, The Irish Post, July 31) at the recent policies of the current Sinn Féin leadership, I have to tell him that his reference — Eire Nua — as a viable political project reveals that he is living in a world of political fantasy, all excuse for which disappeared in 1981.

MY PARENTS are Irish, and I would just like to support both Richard Byrne (The Irish Post, July 3) and Joe O’Brien (The Irish Post, August 14) when they say that where you are born is where you are from.
